« An ideal and authentic location. If you’re looking for a traditional hotel and experience this is an excellent choice. »

« Great host and communication. The house is cozy and it had everything we needed. The air conditioning was great in the Japanese heatwave. In just under 10 minutes, you can walk to some of the nicest streets in Kyoto with temples and cafes. However, everything around there closes quite early and becomes really quiet - so be aware if it’s not your vibe. Not a big deal for me, though. « I highly recommend staying here. The location was perfect as a tourist staying close to the main sights in the Gion area of Kyoto. I was able to see Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka with very few people around without getting up too early. The hotel itself was beautiful and comfortable, despite the smaller size. I was worried about it being too small for three American adults, but we all fit comfortably and made it work for our stay there. It’s a great combination of old and new; it looks and feels like...

« Absolutely amazing oasis in the heart of crowded Kiyomizu. Beautiful, tranquil, clean guest house with tons of space. »

« Loved our stay! The room was spotlessly clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was great, with shops and food close by. Everything ran smoothly from check-in to check-out. Would happily stay again. 10/10! »

« Outstanding value and unbeatable location. A highlight of the trip. Clean accomodations. »

« One of the best hotels in the world. And definitely the best I have ever stayed at in my life. The employees are so friendly and leave enough space for customers. The rooms are so comfortable that they made me have a great sleep. The price is worth it. »
