« We enjoyed our stay here. It's a beautiful little house with almost everything you need for a lovely lakeside vacation. The fridge-freezer is smaller than your standard size, but it easily held three days' worth of food with plenty of room to spare. Unless you're trying to pack a few cases of beer in there, I feel sure that you could fit enough food for an entire week. The lake was very pretty but choked with weeds which makes swimming near shore very unpleasant. We took a paddleboard out to a...

« My husband and our dog stayed at the wizard cottage for a long weekend and really enjoyed our stay! It was a hot couple of days and the cottage kept us cool with great AC! There is plenty of room to roam the property and so nice that it is fenced in. The cottage was nicely decorated and had such intricate detail. We explored some of the lakes as well, there are a lot nearby! We also met Jill & Joan's dogs, they are so sweet! All in all a great stay, would recommend. »

« This VRBO was a great place for a family gathering. We had a good time hanging out on the back spacious deck viewing the water. Kids loved using the kayaks. Cons: a ladder on the dock or easier way to exit the water on shore would have been nice »

« From booking to check-out, our vacation was perfect! Tim and Jennifer took great care of us during our stay. We could walk out the back door and be on the dock in less than a minute. They also had a pontoon boat available for rent which worked out great. There were 11 family members in our group and the house fit us perfectly. Absolutely stunning and well-equipped house! »

« Group of friends have been getting together for a winter/spring getaway for over 35 years. Cowdry Cottage Lake Home was prefect for our get together. Had large open gathering areas which made it perfect for socializing, eating, playing games and just hanging out. »

« We have been fishing with this group for ten years so we know anything could happen. with all the rain a couple of nights before, the lake was up and the fishing was off. The place was perfect for our group and we might like to try again next June when we figure out the dates. The pontoon on the driveway was a little tight. »

« We traveled up to see family in Monticello and this house was perfect for the long weekend. 2 couples and 2 dogs stayed, while another couple and their toddler visited daily. We spent a lot of time on the deck and the fenced yard was great for the dogs. Loved having the game room downstairs too. Ember Coffee and Willy's on the Water were great stops and really close by. We would definitely stay again! »

« This home was better than we expected! We were in town for a wakesurfing competition and we could see the event from the deck which was a great surprise. The home was extremely clean and decorated so cute! The beds were very comfortable. The shower worked great and we had all the amenities we needed and more. We couldn’t get over the gorgeous view out the big living room windows and we enjoyed relaxing evenings on the deck. Kitchen was fully stocked for making meals. We will definitely be back...

« I cannot say enough praise about the Log House. The owners have put a lot of time, thought, and effort into making this a beautiful, relaxing destination. The house is practically in the middle of nowhere surrounded by beautiful scenery. The grounds are meticulously maintained and if you think the pictures in the listing are too good to be true … if anything, the opposite is true. The pictures don’t do it justice. If I had a vacation home, this would be it. Bravo! »

« Excellent!!! So many different things to do, fully stocked property plus many extras, very clean and fun for all ages --- highly recommend!!! This is the BEST place we have ever stayed at! »
