« Had a great stay! Property is right next to the Blue Ridge Tunnel (which is an easy trail) and also conveniently located close to many breweries and vineyards. The hosts have done/do an excellent job labeling everything and communicating all necessary information. Would definitely stay here again! »

« The house was just as described. Scott was very quick to respond and always pleasant. The hot tub was very nice and the house is set in a beautiful wooded area close to pools and a convenience store. Would definitely rent the house again. »

« We stayed for a week. The house is located in a peaceful area hidden in the trees. It was a perfect getaway to recharge. »

« Booked last minute and property met all our needs. Clean, well stocked and good overall condition. Great value! We walked to the slopes both days which was the main draw to this particular house. A bit of a hike but totally doable if you’re in good shape. Nice being so close to the market for convenient provisions. We’d certainly stay there again! »

« This is probably one of the best VRBO‘s. We have stayed in. The house is as advertise and more. The owner was very easy to connect with and very responsive. A well appointed house very clean and comfortable. Don’t hesitate to book this house! »

« This place is beautiful if you enjoy nature and animals. There are horses all over the place and the home is very cute and clean. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a night off the grid with all the comforts of home »

« Great location when visiting JMU. House was very clean and well equipped. Owners were excellent and responded very quickly to any inquiries and provided great recommendations for area restaurants. »

« This property was lovely! The area was beautiful and quiet. The home was very clean, looked just like the pictures online, and plenty of space for two people. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, the fast WiFi, and enjoyed the hot tub. We would definitely return in the future! »

« Perfect place to reconnect and relax with friends! The weather didn't cooperate with our weekend plans, but it didnt matter because we had plenty of options on front porch, back porch and in this well appointed house to relax. We can't wait to come back! »

« House was perfect for a weekend of skiing. You’re able to walk to the resort from the house which was a huge plus since it was a packed weekend. Overall great stay! »

« The property was well stocked and the location was excellent. There was plenty of firewood for the fireplace and the hot tub was perfect after a long day of skiing at the resort. »

« We had a wonderful time at Briarpatch! The house is even better than the pictures. It was cosy and charmingly decorated. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything you could need. We loved cooking dinners each night in the beautiful kitchen. We enjoyed looking out at the woods through the windows that are on all three sides in the living room. We saw deer and chipmunks. And it was so peaceful to watch the rain from there. The location was great for drives to see...

« The house was beautiful and well stocked. The owner thought of everything and all the light switches were labeled which helped a lot. All of the appliances were top notch and the Keurig coffee maker had everything that was needed. Beds were very comfortable and each room had its own thermostat. Overall, excellent stay! »
