« While a 10-15 minute walk from downtown, the scenery and location were gorgeous and quaint. The staff, the room, the breakfast, and the stay were just what we were looking for. We took the train to Durham, dropped our packs off at the inn, and spent the rest of the day walking around town and along the river. »

« The room and the hotel were very nice, the slight downside came when we tried to check in and had to do that via an automated AI system which wasn’t particularly user friendly and long winded especially as I had already given my details when I booked,it didn’t give adequate instruction re: keys and staff at desk/bar seemed very occupied in other areas and not wanting to help. A human being checking in would have made all the difference . Tea and coffee in room weren’t good quality. »

« DĂ©ception pour la chambre : elle n’est pas rĂ©cente mais en plus la propretĂ© n’est pas optimale (toiles d’araignĂ©e au plafond, bĂȘtes sur le sol, lumiĂšre HS). Et certaines choses sont Ă  amĂ©liorer d’urgence : lavabo dans la chambre, porte qui donne sur la douche et les WC est complĂštement cassĂ©e. Rien Ă  voir avec les photos. Ce qui sauve la note : l’amabilitĂ© et un accueil trĂšs chaleureux. Autre mauvais point : pas de restauration possible (ni dĂźner, ni petit dĂ©jeuner) En bref des prestations pas...

« All the staff at the Anglers Arms were lovely, they couldn’t do enough for you. All the food we had (3 breakfasts &. 1 dinner) was very good. The hotel is in need of some modernisation but we know that Joanne and the team are working on this, given a little time they will get everything right but in the meantime it is still a good place to stay and excellent value. »
