« A great weekend. The hotel was clean, staff friendly and helpful. Just what we needed for the kyren weekend. »

« It’s a lovely hotel and very convenient stop. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We only had breakfast but it was delicious and plenty of it. The decor was lovely but needed a bit of tidying and the vase on the table needed a clean. I’m not keen on fake flowers which gather dust and the winter sun shows the glass vase needing a polish. I’m being picky hoping I’m being helpful. It was a fab stay and I thoroughly recommend it and would stay again. »

« Très jolie château avec des grandes réceptions et des chambres pas très grandes mais confortables. Un peu l'ambiance de Downton Abbey. Bien situé pour visiter le Beamish Museum. Une touche française - nordique comme le fils de Guillaume le conquérant était le fondateur. »

« Very pretty pub with nice rooms above. In a great quiet location. The rooms were quaint but with modern amenties and well maintained. Breakfast was great as was dinner in the pub. The staff were very friendly. »

« Chambre cosy dans un quartier calme. Petit déjeuner inclus et copieux. Personnel très agréable. Seul bémol : l'hôtel est est assez excentré. A pieds, il faut un bon quart d'heure de grimpette pour y aller. Restaurant indien juste à côté. »
