There was easy access to the lake right out back via a small dock and very nice, safe beach area. Beautiful views across the lake, and very close to the restaurants in town. « House was well stocked with everything including pans, silverware, dishes, towels, shampoo, kayak & canoe, dock, paddles, outdoor seating, fire pit. No bugs outdoors. Only complaint was backyard was not mowed & lots of vegetation around fire pit & no life jackets (had to drive into town to rent some). »

« This property is a cute two story, four bedroom home nestled in a quiet Sidney neighborhood. It was perfect for a family gathering of 10. The backyard is large, green, and beautiful. The convenience of cooking and congregating in one location beats booking multiple hotel rooms any day. Our host was friendly and a good communicator. We would and probably will stay again! »

« We really enjoyed our stay! The cottage is very cute and really gives you an authentic lake experience in Maine. It was equipped with everything you would need. My kids enjoyed fishing off the dock and sunsets. We will be back! »

« This was our third year in a row spending most of August at the wonderful Loons nest! Brent and Sarah are great and responsive hosts. The views and water are incomparable and the cabin itself has all of the modern conveniences while maintaining a rustic charm. It is one of our favorite places in the world and hope to be back next year! »
