« Charming 1800's style building. With large windows. The floors are a bit noisy when walking on them. The light swit switches could be there viewable. None of the hall lights were on upon arrival, a suggestion would be dimmer switches and LED bulbs if cost of electric is an issue. There is no actual 'breakfast". the buffet serving cabinet has muffins breakfast bar and a Keurig machine for coffee with mini creamer. »

« This was our 2nd visit to 1825 Inn….the innkeepers are delightful! The breakfasts incredible, and it’s so convenient to area attractions or just a quiet getaway! The back porch and yard are like a beautiful retreat! Both visits in April and it was a bit cool to be out for very long. Enjoyed the stay!! »

« Stayed in the Miner’s Suite. Perfect for our family. Clean and comfortable. Our son lives in Pottsville and he was able to join us for breakfast. Excellent breakfast and the scones that were out when we arrived were the best. Highly recommend. »

« My wife and I stayed here for two nights in May 2025, and we would definitely stay here again, if we were in the area. The room itself was very good, and the service from everyone we interacted with was outstanding. We had a slight issue with the bathroom at first, but it was taken care of in a way beyond what I expected. The grounds were beautiful, especially the little gazebo and pond area, where there was also a fire pit and chairs. The breakfast was much better than what "continental" might...

« Un merveilleux séjour avec un très chaleureux accueil de la part de Brenda et Mark, un délicieux et copieux petit déjeuner !!! Ce petit séjour chez les Amish à été très enrichissant, et toutes les adresses données par Brenda au top !!! Le confort de la maison est haut de gamme dans un cadre magnifique. A recommander !!! »

« As usual, the hosts, Mark and Diane have provided my family with a comfortable, sparkling clean, and beautiful bed and breakfast. I also noticed lots of new furniture and upgrades this year (this was our fifth year staying here btw) which proves that these hosts are fully committed to providing vacationers like me with an unforgettable trip. "Nous n'avons jamais habité dans une chambre avec un manque d'hygiène aussi grand. Le bain était sale, les plancher aussi... des restants de cannettes ouvertes dans le frigo, des taches sur le tapis, la manettes de télé graisseuse, les contrôles sur l'air climatisé crasseuses, le couvre lit et la douillette étaient douteux. Nous avions juste hâte de quitter l'endroit. Nous n'avons pas pris le repas inclus avec la chambre puisque nous craignions la salubrité de préparation... DÉFÉNITIVEMENT PAS RECOMMANDÉ "

"Le seul hick c’est que notre chambre en était une communicante avec des inconnus et même la porte fermée la communication était très bonne! Aucune insonorisation. J’ai due laisser la télé jouer presque toute la nuit pour oublier les kids ds la chambre à côté."
