« Spent a long weekend over the Memorial Day holiday at this wonderful water-front home on Lake Burton. The home has some really nice upgrades including a very modern, well-stocked kitchen and a master bath that looks brand new. Our young boys loved the cozy bunkbeds and the large master bedroom was really nice with a king bed and high-end linens. « We throughly enjoyed our weekend getaway at this cozy mountain house. The house was new and very clean and had everything we needed for our family of four. We had a wedding we attended near by at Kaplan Mitchell retreat about 11 miles away and enjoyed taking in the beautiful mountain scenery and the town of Clayton on the drive over. « We really enjoyed our stay at the Garden Cottage! It is super cute and unique with lots of character. It is very close to town for shopping and dinner! A short drive to many state parks, lakes, and adventures! »

« Nice little house. Perfect for a couple or those with 2 children. Very clean. First night a herd of deer walked through the back yard. We thought it was one of the best places we've stayed. Even though it's surrounded by trees and feels like being in the forest, it's only 5 minutes from downtown and all the shops and restaurants. One caveat, a lot of restaurants and shops are closed on Tuesdays so plan ahead. »
