« Check in was a breeze, our room was ready at 4:10 pm. We stayed 4 nights, ate at all 3 restaurants and never had a need to leave the property. Our room, 534, had an amazing gulf view and was right by the elevator, so convenient. We worked out in their gym daily, had cocktails by the pool and rented the beach umbrellas and chairs. The staff was amazing especially the bartenders. »

« Overall experience was good. We were only given fresh towels the first day and the days after they came and took the towels from the room but failed to leave any clean towels. We had to call the front desk and they put in a request and we received them about an hour later. Another thing, my daughter left her favorite blanket there and we notified the hotel within 2 hours of checking out. We were assured it could be shipped to us. « Regrettable welcome from the Check in. The lady was very unpleasant and did not give us any information about the hotel. We had to ask him questions and we really felt like we were bothering him! The rooms are full of humidity, when we entered the room we felt like we were in a freezer! They are forced to put the air conditioning very cold otherwise the floor gets all set! Don't be fooled like us by the photos of the hall and the reception which is very beautiful and very design, which is true...

« We only had an overnight stay before an early flight out the next morning but Fairfield Inn and Suites in Shalimar is where we go to get a good nights rest when flying in and out of our area….nice, helpful people on the desk no matter what time of day or night and clean, comfortable rooms and beds. Thank you for always being the calm during our sometimes hectic travels. Appreciate you all. »
