« Lights in the room were inoperable, stains on the sheets. Unable to control the temperature, was freezing cold. Maintenance had to bring a portable heater. The first one quit working shortly after the maintenance man left, he had to bring a second one. The upholstery on the arm chair was disintegrating. The dock around the pool is chipping away. « On site parking for guests was expensive and not clearly explained. I also have several unverified charges from the hotel that staff have been unable to identify or explain, leaving me responsible for charges that remain unresolved. Unfortunately, the process of getting someone to investigate these issues has been frustratingly slow and inefficient. »

« It was a nice stay. The room was really the highlight. We found everything to be very clean and fresh! The lobby is super small, cute, historic, but unimpressive at night. We only stayed one night and did not eat at the restaurant, but it looked pretty! Elevator and halls were just meh design-wise, but the rooms were lovely. Bathroom was great (but why don’t Midwest hotels install fans? It’s not just the historic places, they’re missing everywhere!), and the beds were cuddly, soft, & super comfy...
