« Property is as described. Was perfect location for visiting the dam and the hatchery. About 15 minutes from a store, so shop ahead. Communication with host was very little, but when we got there, there was a note that had a local number to call/text. We lost power during a brief night storm and that individual was quick to reply and so friendly - even checked on us twice! I think they are blasting a road in the mountain just below the home, so its a little noisy and is cutting out some of the...

« We were in town for a bass master event and I feel like we won the lottery. Some times you end up at places that a shady or run down. But, this was beautiful and peaceful. The host was great at communication and went above and beyond. Truly a little slice of heaven. If bass master comes back to Dale hallow next year. We will be back! Thank you for having us! »

« Trip had to be refunded due to severe storm the night before arrival. Was able to partially access outside of the property before deciding to refund. Tree limbs blocked entrance to vrbo and driveway. Storm knocked power out for entirety of weekend. Very nice location. All communications with owner and VRBO refunding was quick and easy.. Will try to rebook in future. »

Our destination was Mammoth Cave, which was an easy 30 minute drive. We ate at one of the recommended Mexican restaurants and were very impressed; margaritas and home-made salsa didn't disappoint. « My family and I stayed here for a few days for a High School fishing tournament on Dale Hollow. We could not have been more pleased. The home was immaculate and fully stocked with everything we needed. It was located just a short drive away from Sunset Marina (where we were launching from). Had a new HVAC that kept us comfortable.
