Middlesbrough - Nos maisons d'hôte de charme

« Stayed here on a whim, travel a lot with work and try to pick small independent places where I can, usually with a pub. Unfortunately, the pub was shut as it was a Monday, but I just crossed the road and went there for food and drinks so no problem. The room was beautiful, bright, very clean and very spacious. It looked newly decorated and done very tastefully, felt like I was staying in a stately home, not the local boozer! I mentioned to some locals I was working with that I was staying here...

« Es war einfach wunderbar. Sehr stilvoll eingerichtet, grosses und gepflegtes Zimmer und Bad mit grosser Dusche. Sehr viel Ablagefläche im Bad und wohlriechende Pflegeprodukte. Das Doppelbett war sehr, sehr bequem und das Hotel sehr ruhig, so dass ich wunderbar schlief. Das Frühstück konnte am Vortag ausgewählt werden. Das „english breakfast“ wurde dann frisch zubereitet und war einfach wunderbar. Der junge Mann sehr zuvorkommend und sehr motiviert und freundlich. Es hat mir sehr gut gefallen...

« What a lovely place to stay. All self service but received on point instructions from Dave. We stayed in Room 6 and it was really nice. I would only ask for bigger towels and firmer pillows. There is on site parking which I would say allowed 2 cars if people parked right. Location was good too, not far from beach »

« Un superbe endroit, dans une superbe région. Notre hôte met les petits plats dans les grands, et l'on sent qu'il se fait plaisir en accueillant des visiteurs. Le lieu est superbement tenu, avec une grande attention portée au confort et à la décoration. Tout est impeccable et soigné. Le petit déjeuner est à l'avenant : rien ne manque sur les tables dressées avec raffinement et notre hôte fait le service en tenue. Chic, mais chaleureux. Serviable aussi. Nous sommes restés une nuit de plus, alors...

« Host was very welcoming, then you are left alone with own entrance to property which is fantastic. The decor is just as you would expect from a budget guesthouse but everything is spotlessly clean. They have everything you need for a low cost and comfortable stay. »
