« We have stayed at both houses this host has! We have LOVED both! We decided to rent this house due to it being only my husband and I staying this time and it was WONDERFUL!! It’s very cozy, small, and comfortable!! It has access to drive your boat to the house and leave it in the water for the weekend! 10/10 would stay here again and likely will! The host is wonderful and quickly replies to all questions and concerns!!! »

« Perfect for a weekend getaway! Just 15 miles from historic downtown Jefferson where we spent the days. Then back to the cabin on Lake of the Pines to watch the sunset on the porch of the cabin. So quiet the only noise was the birds at the water and the squirrels chattering and playing. »

« The cabin and property are beautifully maintained. There are so many thoughtful details throughout: in the cabin, on the front and back porch and deck, even chairs at the waters edge. The hosts are gracious and kind and go out of their way to ensure your visit is pleasant and comfortable. I was welcomed with delicious baked yummies and even a treat bag for my dog. It was above and beyond my expectations, I had the nicest peaceful retreat. Thank you Frank and Linda! »

« Stay was great. Right on the river. VRBO lists the cabins by name as individual locations so it's a bit complicated to Google. Just make sure you Google map the name of the lodge, not the cabin. Owner was available by phone all the time and the staff was great. »

« We loved the place, the cabin, the quietness and we all had a great time fishing. Property owner was awesome to communicate with as was the property manager. Great people and definitely plan to come back. »

« We came to Longview for weekend to see the balloon race. Our stay was so peaceful in the woods at the Hayloft. Close to town and easy to access from highway. Very comfortable and quiet. Loved sitting on the balcony overlooking the property. There is a climb with the stairs that can be a little difficult for some. Bring own amenities like bath soap and shampoo, everything else is there. »

« Clean, well stocked, wonderfully peaceful, very ready response from property mgr and very easy check in. Old folks take note, may not be necessarily senior friendly. I considered the spiral stair case but didn't worry about it and it was no problem at all. Steepness of drive is not exaggerated and you should be very steady on your feet to navigate the getting up and down grades, steps. Particularly the 2 steps from the deck into the house-they are especially high steps from a very short 70...
