« This was a fun place to stay while visiting the battle field. The village was very interesting with many small shops. The room appeared to be recently renovated and staying above a pub was a fun experience. The pub itself was also excellent. Our only complaint was lack of air conditioning...which resulted in us opening a window...and listening to traffic (the road out front is very busy) All-in-all, I would strongly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area »

Gorgeous old English pub with lots of places to smack your head and absolutely nothing is straight… the room itself is lovely and simple with a great bed and everything you could need. « Très jolie bâtisse (d’epoque donc ne pas s’attendre à du tout moderne !), chambre propre calme et literie très confortable. Salle de bains un peu vieillotte mais propre. Super petit dej, complet (sucré, salé, choix de boissons...) dans une salle de restaurant charmante. Petit hameau de campagne, facile à trouver et proche de Hastings. Parking gratuit très appréciable. »
