« A beautiful accommodation, quiet location. Very comfortable beds, everything super clean and nice equipment. 2 bathrooms, but only one shared, in the other is a tub. The charm of the original umd if you have questions you get quick answer. The wild garden is grandiose and this romantic place too. We had to look for the driveway a bit the first time. We would book again immediately. To visit English gardens a great starting point. »

« Stayed 1 night Wednesday 2nd September at the White Lion. We were passing through Tenterden and decided to stay overnight. We couldn’t have chosen better accommodation. We stayed in the Biddenden Room and it was so spacious, clean and comfortable. « Staff on check in were really lovely, friendly and helpful. Carried our suitcases upstairs which was much appreciated and provided iron and ironing board within minutes. Room 14 is a safety hazard! Tiny step in to the bathroom which is really easy to miss and I actually had a bad fall when staying. There's also a step down in to the bedroom part of the room, so be really careful if you stay in this room. Someone had pre set an alarm on the TV to 5:45am so if you stay here, make sure to check...

« This place has so much potential.. it needs a complete refurb.. Lacks personality and charm.. in fact it has none. The lighting alone makes you feel you are in a hospital waiting room. The bar staff were lovely but the receptionists are not the best not welcoming at all. »

« The staff were all wonderful and helpful . It was 36c+ . The building is an old historic property with newly refurbished bedrooms . A fan was in the room to help with the heat . Small but comfortable with a lovely bathroom. My room faced the front and with the heat I needed my window open . The property is by the traffic lights so if you are traffic averse , ask for a rear room . Breakfast is continental but you can pay extra for a cooked breakfast, but not on Sundays . Room for 3 cars to park...

« Séjour agréable et confortable. Personnel accueillant. Très bon repas. La photo de chambre double dans le pavillon (lodge) me faisait craindre un espace étriqué. Bien au contraire, la chambre est spacieuse, confortable, agréable, propre, calme. Literie confortable. Très grande baignoire ! Le pavillon est tout proche (2 minutes à pied) du bâtiment principal où se prennent les repas. Excellent séjour, nuit reposante. »
