« The beautiful property is secluded enough for relaxation, yet only 10 minutes from the grocer. The cabin is very well put together using what appears to be reclaimed/refurbished materials from the period. It has all the moderns of today with the feel of 'Grampa's Cabin'.We hope to make this our regular accommodations while visiting nearby family. Thanks for the memories! »

« We had a great time. House is beautifully decorated and everything was wonderful. If I had to give 1 negative would be the walk to the dock. It is not for the weak. But it was worth it being the fishing queen for the week. Will definitely stay again. »

Get there before sunset to locate cabin.Bring board games or activities if internet gets flaky...or just sit gazing at the lighthouse and lake and birdsThank you!! »

« We had a great stay and loved the location and property. All the kids caught tons of bass, crappie, catfish and brim right off the dock. We enjoyed the kayaks available and the cove is very quiet and calm. It is a summer trip our family will remember We will book the property again in the future for family lake trips or bass tournaments! Pam was a very nice and approachable host we had everything we needed within the house. »

« We had a wonderful time at Gabbie’s Getaway. The home was adorable, very clean and well equipped kitchen. We had everything we needed to make a nice Thanksgiving dinner. Plenty of clean linens and towels! The furnishings were nice and couches were very comfortable. The doc area is very nice as well. Full disclosure on the treck down to dock was slightly steeper than expected but in no way a deterrent. I would just want to add that if you had physical disabilities or older it might be a little...
