« I liked it very much, the house was very nice and nicely decorated. Everything was there even washer and dryer. The view was so excellent and if it was warmer weather would have enjoyed sitting on deck overlooking the water. Location great, near markets, etc. I would rent again. Jan »

« Tucked away on a private road, but close to the village of Indian Lake with hiking and paddling nearby. The house was roomy, clean, and welcoming. The host was very accommodating and helped with any questions. He even gave us tips on hiking with our pups. We absolutely loved it!! »

« I booked this cabin fri-Sun as a meet up with some friends I don’t get to see much. Unfortunately I had mechanical problems on the way and didn’t arrive until 5am sat morning. « My in-laws an my husband were camping in Old Forge for years and this time we got back with our kids to show them Adirondack mountains. Everything was great! The property is big, clean and ready to accept renters. Large fire pit was the place for our evenings with kids and grandparents. The balcony was our place for breakfasts and dinners. Very homie atmosphere. Close proximity to Old Forge. Loved it and will be back for sure! »

« We rented the main house and guest house for a ski trip with our kids and some of their college friends. Upon arrival, the place was spotless! There was plenty of room for sleeping and hanging out. Guest house was also perfect. Kitchen was well stocked. Gore mountain very close also convenient to supermarket and a few restaurants. Only minor issue was inconsistent water pressure which is not unusual in ski / lake houses like.this. Would definitely rent again »

« Four generations of my family came to Old Forge for a weekend in September. Two groups camped at the Old Forge Camping resort and two stayed at the Thendara House. Everything was as described. We had a great front porch to sit on and there was a fire pit in the back yard. Our host was fantastic! She was always available to answer any questions that we had. The locations was fantastic! I would definitely recommend this house! »
