« The house and gardens were beautiful. The large pool and lovely terraces were great. Nice welcome from Philip on site and all amenities as expected. However, we were taken aback by the access road which was difficult to navigate for our low saloon cars (Alfa Romeo Giulia in particular). An SUV would have been more appropriate but we were not warned of that in advance. We also had to replace 3 lightbulbs for the outside lights so we could actually see each other in the evening. The room was full of character, the bathroom spotless, our meal in the Locanda restaurant superb and we even enjoyed the 15 minute uphill walk into Assisi! « We had a great stay in one of the apartments. The atmosphere felt genuine and the personnel was very friendly. Breakfast (Italian style) was served at the premises, for lunch/dinner a car is needed to reach most restaurants in the area. Enjoyed a wine tasting with some of their self-produced wines. « Not too great on the first night to be honest. The location, stunning, the room, beautiful with the swimming pool right on our door step. However, the heater for said swimming pool is located opposite the headboard of our bed, so during the course of the night you can hear the machine working away with a constant humming sound, which, during the night is greatly amplified. « The farm is located just outside of Perugia and well positioned if you want to visit different towns in the area such as Assisi. The hosts do not serve a breakfast but rather leave you items in the fridge and in a basket. On one occassion we received fresh eggs. We enjoyed our stay »
