« Charming restored historic hotel. The village of Whitehaven is a collection of traditional old homes which have mostly been restored. The hotel is very near a historic ferry which operates every day for free since it is part of the state hywy system. Taking the ferry which crosses the Wicomico River can save an amount of time if travelling in some directions. The is hostess very helpful , accommodating and serves a superb breakfast. »

« Liked that it was a little remove from the main street of St. Michael's (About a half mile away). Loved the history of the House and how Will came to own it and restore it. Liked the staff (Will and the young ladies who support him). Loved breakfast. Liked the pool. HIGHLY recommend it. »

« I stayed here in lieu of a hotel room in Salisbury for a work trip and it was worth the drive, only about 20 minutes from Salisbury. « I loved this place. There was an update in 2016 and someone made the mistake of getting white carpet. Live and learn. The bed was comfortable, there was a variety of pillows, the tavern shuts down at 9:00 so its all quiet by 11:00 p.m. The tavern is superb. I’d eat there again in a heartbeat. The place is old and has some quirks and that’s something that you either like because you like historical places or you don’t because you like modern things. I’d stay here again. »
