« Absolutely loved my stay at the Coach house. MC was very accommodating in every way and was always quick to respond if I needed anything. The location was great with a short 15 minute walk into Huddersfield town centre and the station. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in for my time in Huddersfield. 5* all round :) »

« Walmgate cottage is an excellent base for a short trip to York. It is a 10 minute walk from the centre of the city, which means it is pretty quiet. The cottage was warm and cosy, and everything was clean. If you are unsteady on your feet, be advised be that the upstairs floors are a little bit uneven due to the age of the property, but that was not an issue for us. « Willow Cottage was a great base for our week away exploring Yorkshire (including a fantastic day at The Great Yorkshire Show). James et al were accomodating in every way and nothing was too much trouble. The cottage has a well equipped Kitchen with some essentials, and plenty of storage space throughout. « Quando siamo arrivati al cottage verso le 18.00 non si è presentato nessuno per darchi la chiave. Abbiamo chiesto ad una vicina che ha cercato si aiutarci. Alla fine, verso le 21.15 hanno rintracciato la donna delle pulizie che ci ha prestato la sua chiave. « First thing to say is that this is a stunning building, beautifully restored. The apartment itself is great, spread over four floors, okay for six although the top room is quite small and the second bathroom on the top floor is only a toilet and basin - only one shower/bathroom. The cinema room is great! And the location is perfect - ten minutes walk over the river to the centre of York and two minutes away from the excellent shops and restaurants on Bishopthorpe Rd. »

« Pretty property, booked last minute and no problem with the instructions or entry. Comfortable, but the shower doesn't work (very weak, keeps dropping to stone cold or scalding hot halfway through) and the kitchen/bathroom both need a deep clean not just a wipe - had to wash up everything in the kitchen cupboards before use. Without this would be a very nice stay, as is can't recommend sorry. »

« Well thought out cottage design very well presented but testing for size - just an extra 5% of space would yielded 20% increase in convenience and enjoyment. Hosts and neighbours are excellent. Parking is unusual but workable. As a couple (one Aussie and one Aussie born in Yorkshire) we really enjoyed our time at this cottage and would highly recommend it. Walk to village is 10 minutes and huge number of attractions within 40 mins. »

« We really enjoyed our stay at the paddock. It was warm and comfortable and clean with everything provided for by the owner. Melissa kept us informed throughout our stay. Excellent position for the park&ride into york, and in a safe and quite place to stay. Perhaps a few pictures around the walls would add to the ambience . »
