« Ideal family base for our show at Utilita Arena and shopping at Metro Centre. 10-15 mins away by car. Cosy wee house at decent price. Would definitely book here again for myself, partner and 3 kids. »

« We found the property clean but lacking, certainly not "Superb". The decor was sparse e.g. bare light bulbs. Negatives Bathroom: no mirror, no towel rails, only one hand towel in the property for three. Kitchen: Two sets of knives & forks for three, no large glasses or wine glasses, no fire blanket/extinguisher, no downstairs smoke alarm I could spot. « Worth to pay 100£+ for 3 bedrooms. Very professional people. Friendly Clean property. Safe as it next of police station. High recommend »

« The house is clean in the main areas that you need i.e. clean sheets and towels. However, it needs a good deep clean between the gaps of the couch, 'stuff' under the foot stool when moved, mold near the hand basin, bubbling above shower, dishes/cutlery needing a good wash. A fan in summer would have been helpful and had to chase the host for check-in details. Photos are better than what is actually is and could do with some maintenance and tlc. »

« Pros: Really good communication from host. Decorated nicely. Log burner (extra charge if using hosts logs). Milk in fridge. 8 minutes drive to Beamish museum. 4 minutes drive to a really good play park and splash area, by the river. Comfy beds and bedding. The accommodation was really clean. Shower heats up quick, large shower head. Dog bowls and biscuit treats - nice extra. Cons: Oven was broken by previous guest (on request, host was really good at providing air fryers). "Very nice hotel conveniently adjoining the Railway Station. Pleasant and helpful staff and an excellent English breakfast. The hotel was once rather grand and could do with a little modernising, but it is still comfortable."
