« Excellent location for family get-together & birthday party. The host (Fiona) was extremely helpful & pub staff provided really great service & friendly too. Pub Food was excellent 100% accurate for such a large party. The accommodation is a little quirky, but exactly as expected given it’s within a 16th century property. Great that they also have a (convenience) shop on site given that the local store is now permanently closed. »

« Great cosy property, heating was so easy to use with smart radiator valves meaning you can boost or turn down rooms independently if needed. Kitchen had everything we needed and the small space to the front was big enough to store our 4 bikes when not riding them! We did a walk into Hepworth to the Butchers Arms which was excellent and some nice rope swings on the way for the children - highly recommend this walk. Sarah excellent with communication. Thank you for a lovely stay. »

« There was many things that were incredibly disappointing about this property. An hour before arriving we received a message to say the main bathroom toilet was blocked and they weren’t going to fix it before our stay, meaning the only toilets available were inside the 2 en-suite bathrooms. After arriving we found the house in what seemed to be mid construction. The kitchen was still covered in protective plastic, with cupboards without handles and a complete lack of cutlery, glasses and plates....

« Dark and gloomy area, not safe seeming at all. We were sent wrong apartment number so spent an hour trying to find 18 when in fact flat was 22.Heat kicked in at midnight and was impossible to turn down, WiFi barely worked and downstairs toilet was broken. Floor between living area and dining was cracked and constantly tripped people up. « We stayed at bungalow as a base for going to a family wedding, 7 in group. After a minor glitch caused by a failed text message about gate entry (no-one's fault) got in safe and sound. Lovely to find a little welcome pack of biscuits and wine for us.
