Auberges à Killamarsh

« Bon emplacement pour découvrir la partie nord de Peak District. Confort sommaire mais suffisant. »

« A nice travellers rest inn, we had a very spacious ground floor room with an equally spacious ensuite, the room was a little noisy early evening, but was generally quiet overnight. Well located in the centre of Bakewell close to all the town has to offer. The adjoining pub has a great atmosphere with excellent food and drinks. The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. »

« First of all the staff was nice and helpful and that’s important, so no issue there. However, rooms without breakfast? Really? If you do accommodation do it thoroughly and do it right. This isn’t! £138 without breakfast for a mediocre room and no breakfast is a big NO for us. Way too expensive for what it is and sorry to say, no we won’t be back, and no I won’t recommend. You need to seriously up your game. »

« The Pilsley Inn is the quintessential English country side experience. The room was thoughtfully appointed and way bigger than expected. Cozy bed, nice linens and thoughtful touches everywhere. The staff were delightful, each and every one of them. And the food…omg, the food! So good! We wish we booked more than one night! »

« Loud. Incredibly loud. First, they gave no indication that the room I was staying in opened directly onto the street. The door lock was strange, perhaps just something I'm not used to, but I struggled with ensuring that it was locked during the night. (I work in a technical field, I'm not dim, but jeez, I felt stupid) Considering people milling around outside the pub at night were quite drunk, shouty, and possessed of questionable decision making, I ended up putting a chair in front of the door...

« If you are worried about buget, then this place will do! »

« The room was excellent and the staff were all lovely. We had dinner the first evening but somehow our order got 'lost' and we waited an hour for the food from ordering. Meanwhile, meals were being brought out for diners around us. No one seemed to notice that we were waiting and waiting..... However, the staff were very apologetic, the food was delicious (when it finally arrived) and we were not charged for it in the end. Overall, a great place to stay- and eat- and we would recommend. »

« Arrivé en plein milieu de la nuit suite à un retard de vol. Ils ont trouvé une solution. Le petit déjeuner était très bon. Chambre rustique. Cela colle avec le cadre de peak district »

« The room was huge with more than enough space for a seating area as well as a dressing table/coffee station. Tea/coffee provided and hairdryer in room. Bathroom was adequate but dated and some of the seating in the bedroom area was ripped and one of the bedside lights didn’t work. Staff were helpful although it took some time to knowledge us on arrival. They were really helpful when I phoned to make an enquiry prior to arrival. The accommodation is in an adjacent building to the bar/pub. The...
