The building is empty, has insecure front doors; there is debris scattered all over the back of the property; there is no lighting around the entrance or car park. Unsafe. « Great views, lovely property, easy check in process, good communication with owner. Very remote (exactly what we wanted but be aware that you cant just 'pop to the shops' from here!) Would highly recommend for a nice peaceful break or anyone wanting to explore the local area. »

« My Dad was unable to access the apartment due to the complicated process, he is a pensioner and not tech' savy and after travelling over 4 hours to Whitehaven he was very disappointed to discover that their was no host to greet him and when he managed to make contact with someone on a phone was told his details where incomplete and needed photo ID which he didn't have with him, he ended up having to find alternative accomodation. He is very upset and disappointed. »

« The property was tucked off the main street with parking outside. Inside was spotlessly clean with fresh linen and towels. There was a keybox outside and this was easy enough to use and obtain the key. The only things not provided was a tea towel to dry dishes before we left and onlyv2 tumblers and one wine glass. Msybe an inventory to replace items that have been damaged or broken. We were only there one night but Egremont has a few pubs, restuarants, takeaways and a fairly large co-op store...
