« 1 Star – Not Recommended This is not really a hotel but an old countryside pub with a few guest rooms. The location is extremely remote, and it is pitch black outside at night with very little lighting. The building is old, the rooms feel dated, and the overall experience was disappointing. If you’re expecting a comfortable hotel, you will likely be disappointed. I would not stay here again. »

« What a beautiful place in an idyllic setting. Our room was extremely spacious and could have benefited from a portable air conditioning unit as we were located at the top of the building but the heat didn’t detract from our experience. The bed was large and comfortable and the tea/coffee, and biscuits were top quality. The fresh milk in the fridge and chilled water was an unexpected bonus ! We had dinner in the restaurant which was outstanding as was the breakfast which not only had exceptional...

« Very basic hotel, check in was very limited with no info on hotel dining or other facilities. Not shown to the room and found no hand soap in bathroom. There was shower gel and shampoo. The room overlooked outside drinking and smoking area and could smell smoke if window open. All furniture was old and some pieces had been mended. Floor boards loose in some places. Admittedly the building is old and has character, but TLC required. »
