« We had a fantastic stay at Sunnybank over the August bank holiday. The house was clean and spacious for 9 people (2 families). All the bedrooms were roomy and beds/pillows very comfortable. There were plenty of bathrooms for everyone’s use and the gym was a nice addition for those fitness fanatics in our group. « We had a wonderful time at Joan’s Cottage - it’s off the beaten path a bit, but close to Keswick in a beautiful private setting. I particularly enjoyed sipping my tea every morning by the bubbling beck. The house was snug and clean, just what we wanted for our Lakes getaway! »

« We had a lovely stay over new year. Beautiful location, great for walks. Lots of good country pubs a short drive away. There is a pub across the road, but it was closed to non-residents when we were there. Also there was no hairdryer in the property, so take your own! »

« The kitchen was well equipped and the living areas were comfortable. It's close to Keswick and lots of walking is easily accessible within a 20 minute drive. It has a supply of games and a set of Wainwright books. There's no wi fi and the 4g signal is variable - enough to message if you want but not consistent enough to stream anything. Towels were provide when we stayed, the info online suggests that this is not the case. The property is close to the A66 so you got traffic noise in the garden...

It is clearly mentioned on the listing though and I would let it put anyone off from booking as there’s plenty of parking around Keswick »

« Great location in Keswick, spacious with a modern kitchen and nice touches. Would stay again, just needs some of the cobwebs sorting out and a lock on the master bathroom door. »
