« We enjoyed the impeccable and cosy cottage, well equipped and furnished during our 2 weeks stay. We ´particularly aprreciated thé welcoming presents (cake, jam and flowers) and the help given by the landlords. The location of the cottage is excellent as a starting point for hikes and discoveries the Lake District. We warmly recommend this experience. »

« The property was in a state of disrepair, and it is noted the property currently has a “For Sale” sign, providing some understanding of the cause of the very poor state of the rental. « What a lovely place in a beautiful location, west side of the Lake District. All the home comforts you could need including reclining sofa and a washing machine! « This is a really lovely and immaculately maintained property, and one that provides and excellent base for exploring the Lake District. It is very well equipped and comfortable, and also nice and quiet - just the tonic if on a break. We enjoyed cooking and relaxing and also exploring the local area, which was new to us. « Thank you for making me feel so welcomed, all the tips, like the train to Edinburgh, and little suprise gifts at the cottage. The cottage is really beautiful. Even tough the weather wasn't always on my side, it really enjoyed my week here and hope to come back again. »

« The accommodation offered value for money in a great location within easy driving distance of Keswick. If we were to be critical we would say that the stairs are tricky if even for the most able bodied particularly at night time. The bed is a small double and extremely soft therefore if sharing with another person you both end up in the middle. « Great value, a perfect location for myself and my family. We are all fit adults and so the small incline walk from town to the property was not a problem. The house had plenty of room and the two big bathrooms were perfect for us. Great value for money - will stay again. Plus met the really lovely cleaning lady our departure. Thank you. »

« We enjoyed our stay at Kotel. Good location, good wifi connection. However we would have liked to have had an electric hob as with only a microwave cooking was rather limited. Also not easy to wash up as no plug in the sink. Fortunately there was an ice bucket I could use to wash up!!!. Crockery was also limited to 2 sets only. Had to check with staff on site re disposal of our rubbish as bins not very big. It would also be good that the Kotel staff supply a brush and dustpan for sweeping up the...
