« We stayed 5 nights in October half term and had a lovely stay.The cottage is very cosy and ideally located to spend time in the Peak district. Recommend the local Indian takeaway just around the corner and also the Goyt in which is only a couple of minutes walk away.Kitchen could do with a few more items, such as a baking and roasting tray but this didn't affect our stay.All in all a really lovely cottage in a lovely location. We're already considering coming back for a couple of nights in...

« The property was warm and welcoming. However, the stairs are very steep and narrow - not ideal for elderly people. The downside was that we never received the key code to get into the property and had to communicate with the owner via the Vrbo website when we arrived. However she responded immediately - very good. Is this a problem with the Vrbo website? »

« There was many things that were incredibly disappointing about this property. An hour before arriving we received a message to say the main bathroom toilet was blocked and they weren’t going to fix it before our stay, meaning the only toilets available were inside the 2 en-suite bathrooms. After arriving we found the house in what seemed to be mid construction. The kitchen was still covered in protective plastic, with cupboards without handles and a complete lack of cutlery, glasses and plates....
