« The property was warm and welcoming. However, the stairs are very steep and narrow - not ideal for elderly people. The downside was that we never received the key code to get into the property and had to communicate with the owner via the Vrbo website when we arrived. However she responded immediately - very good. Is this a problem with the Vrbo website? »

« Stunning property. Perfect for a large family gathering. The house had everything we needed and many extra things. Very easy to checkin and excellent communication. We could not ask for any more. One query: Either the online description or the very detailed electronic guide available when you have booked is slightly confusing. « Lovely apartment. The stairs provide useful training for any walks you might be planning (lol). The kitchen was well equipped and a generally sure location. Anyone over 6 foot tall may have to duck to get under the shower properly but that wasn't a problem for us. »

« I personally did not stay here. I booked for my mother and father and aunt. They came from America to visit me in Nottingham/Derby. From what I saw it was clean, neat, and well stocked with all thing things you need for a stay. My folks said the beds were comfortable and they enjoyed their stay. I would definitely book again for future guests visiting me. Thank you. »

« This is a beautifully put together house and it was immaculately clean throughout. Check-in was no problem and the location was great. If you are not a good walker, you might struggle with the trudge up the steep hill from Matlock to the house: we decided it meant the cheese and wine was well earned!! « There was many things that were incredibly disappointing about this property. An hour before arriving we received a message to say the main bathroom toilet was blocked and they weren’t going to fix it before our stay, meaning the only toilets available were inside the 2 en-suite bathrooms. After arriving we found the house in what seemed to be mid construction. The kitchen was still covered in protective plastic, with cupboards without handles and a complete lack of cutlery, glasses and plates....
