« Great place to stay »

« I ended up having to pay a two night stay that I didn't even use because when I canceled with the owner in July for an August date, he didn't inform me that I needed to also call and cancel with the platform until the day of my arrival, and wouldn't accept any responsibility. It's advertised for $125 per night but by the time you're finished with fees and taxes - it's really $250 per night. »

« Really needs good cooking utensils. Had to wait over a half hour to get in because Cleaning crew was still there. Having a list of where things are located would have been very helpful, such as cushions for outside chairs place where we could get more firewood, etc. We loved the atmosphere. »

« The Stone Bluff Cabin is beautiful inside and out! If you want a relaxing retreat to reset and recharge this is the place! We enjoyed watching the trains, eagles and the river. Sleeping accommodations were comfortable. The interior of this place is unique and gorgeous! We could tell the owners put a lot of love into this place. Just a quick drive to Savanna for lunch, antique and thrift store shopping. We cannot wait to come back! »

« We were allowed to check in early, which we appreciated; however, no one had rented the unit for weeks before us so even though it had been cleaned after the last guests we found dead stink bugs and beetle ladybugs on the couch, the carpet, the counter tops etc. The grill was not clean and the stovetop must have been wiped down with a dirty rag. When we raised concerns we were told that since we checked in 2 hours early proper cleaning was not complete, which makes no sense, no one was there...
