« What an excellent Easter stay for my Siblings and kids. 17 total and plenty of space. Beautifully decorated and lots to do on the property. Gorgeous views (when it wasn't raining), kind of forget you're actually in Illinois. Ranch Joe was wonderful giving us the "lay of the land"!! Outstanding Lodge for a big group of folks. Would definitely stay here again.Owner Mark was a breeze to work with. »

« This property offers the luxury of a resort with the down-home experience of a ranch. Peaceful, gorgeous views - especially at sunset from the "Quiet Rock" deck. Or the sunrise from the swing near the Main Lodge. Mark is a gracious host who shared his love of the property by introducing us to Waffles, the donkey, Flowers, the cow, & numerous other animals. « The room was clean but very dated, the bed was horrible and my husband and I did not get a good nights sleep. They provided coffee, fruit and some other items for breakfast. The location is great but it is not worth the money, the room had a damp potentially mildew smell and could be the old carpeting. I wouldn’t stay here again, only did because it was the cheapest I could find in the area for one night. »
