« Check in was really easy and convenient. You can tell the property is a little older, but our room was massive. We had a gorgeous view of the river right outside our room. I wish we could've gone on a trip on the local paddle boat, but they have scheduled trip days and hours that didn't correspond with our trip. The sauna was nice and got plenty hot, makes for a specialty that you don't usually find in hotels. 10/10 would stay again. Lovely town too, and great antique stores for any downtime. »

« We had a great four-night stay at this home while visiting family in Rochelle. The location was perfect for us and it also checked all our boxes for a great vacation rental: immaculate throughout; comfy bed; well-stocked kitchen; great bathrooms with ample towels; and a lovely and inviting space. Julie was also positive and quick to answer our questions. We look forward to staying again in the future! »

« This place was perfect for our little weekend getaway for a friends wedding. It was only 4 min drive from the wedding venue and easy parking. Great scenery. The place is a little bit outdated but its comfortable and clean, which is the most important. The couple running the place is super nice and accommodating. We brought our 5 month old baby last minute and it was no problem. I would definitely stay again. »

« Très bel accueil, on m’a donné ma chambre en avance pour me permettre de garer ma moto au stationnement et mettre mes bagages à l’abri. Le monsieur de la réception était vraiment sympathique! Aussi, hôtel très bien situé pour marcher la ville! »

« The staff at the desk were helpful and checking in and out was fast and easy. My room was clean, quiet, and spacious. I only stayed one night, just to have a bed and a shower, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. The property looked nice and spacious as well. I think it should be advertised more clearly that the hotel is right next to some train tracks. I didn't mind them passing by, but others might not like the noise. »

« A comfortable stay, relaxing on the Rock River, with nearby forest preserves to enjoy. We especially enjoyed the three season porch and took advantage of BBQ grill. Be sure the location works for what you want to do, though driving into Rockford is easy. Owner is engaging and made sure we were comfortable; he was readily available if we had questions. »
