« We had a king bed and it was very soft. Pillows were not flat. Toilet is an elongated bowl. Shower is inside of a jacuzzi style tub so lots of room. No breakfast but there is a coffee vendor trailer across the street in the parking lot of a bar that had a decent selection. There are vending machines in the lobby. Close to town but you’re outside of it a bit. We were there at the end of October so we got a view of the river and only a few other people in the building, so it was gloriously quiet. »

« Kind and courteous staff, clean and comfy room! I wish I had a couple of days to spend with the cook. As a life-long student and participant of the art of Gastronomy, the restaurant food was disappointing. Pardon my grandiosity. My mother was a chef and my brother was a restaurant consultant way back in the 1990’s. It’s not that costly or difficult to do better in your restaurant! The particular dish I ordered said fresh basil from menu. There was no fresh basil, just too much dried...

« I absolutely loved every minute of my stay in this quaint little inn-style hotel!!! Best hotel experience I’ve had in years!! Rooms have a very generous size. Bed was very comfortable and tv was fun. Nice bathroom, everything was very clean. If I have to stay somewhere again in Sycamore, it’ll be here! »
