« Home was clean, stocked and as advertised! Host was available as needed (trouble shooting the TV). Only nuances, the neighborhood is run down, neighbors had very noisy dogs - while the home was pet friendly, eveytime we took our dog out the neighbor dogs barked continuously. Not the hosts fault, maybe a privacy fence or some privacy landscaping could help. We had two families one with a baby, the layout is tight, so if baby was up, so was everyone else. Last comment, says it sleeps six. But...

« Diamond in the rough. This was a first time staying in a house instead of a hotel. Pulling into the neighborhood the family was a bit weary. Kids fighting. Skunk smell about. But I noticed one of the neighbors had an Astrovan with big chromed out wheels so I was pumped! House was great and we loved it. Very comfy and would recommend again. »

« If I could give Jenny (the host) extra stars I would. She was incredibly helpful answering my many questions (not least the measurements of the tables in the house so I knew what size tablecloths to get!) The property is very pretty and peaceful and an easy drive to AU. Publix minutes away. We live out of state but wanted to host extended family for graduation weekend, 11 adults aged 20-81 yrs. The Pond House gave us room to spread out *and* be together--much better than separate hotel rooms....

« We were in the area visiting family and had a wonderful time! The house is cozy, comfortable, clean and well appointed. It is close to everything. We walk to downtown, walked to Church on Sunday, sat on the small porch with our coffee and just thoroughly enjoyed out time in Opelika. We loved that it is very close to Auburn!! Thank you Diane for making your home available. We will be back! »

« The property was beautifully decorated, it felt so welcoming. I loved the natural light through the front door & windows, as well as the bedroom rear access to the deck. Even though surrounding area/neighborhood looks a bit rundown, we felt secure at the property. The people we met during our stay were very nice. There's a little community park with swings right on the corner of the block and a family was having a birthday party on our arrival day. »
