« My friends and I were very happy with our stay. It is such a beautiful and peaceful area. The house was wonderful and had everything we needed. Everything was very clean. Wish we would have stayed longer. We would definetly stay here again and highly recommend it! »

« This house was perfect for our family get-a-way. Due to hot temps and thunderstorms we spent more time at the house than anticipated. It was great! We loved the hot tub, pool table, and the huge tv. The property is secluded, quiet and beautiful. My kids loved the neighboring sheep, they were pretty entertaining. The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. It’s a quick easy drive into downtown Galena. We all want to come back! »

« Great location in a quiet neighborhood and right on the Rock River! Tanzie was a great host. Pretty much everything we needed we found was already there! Great location very close to several state parks and nature preserves. If you enjoy nature, this is a great spot to stay. Close to everything! »

« Place was way better than I expected. Larger than I thought or looked in pictures. Great area, great location, great small town in area. Loved the comfort of the place, and critters walking around; Turkeys, ground squirrels, rabbits amd blue birds outside below balcony. Great walking trails, guest /owner clubhouse and pools. BUT, Best of all is the GOLF courses, in the area, all will grab your attention, tough and great for all. Pricing is midlevel. »

« Beautiful and comfortable home backing up to the woods. Close enough to all Galena has to offer in an extremely peaceful setting. Management is very responsive. Our family had a wonderful stay. »

« We had a great time. It was a close drive to Galena and still secluded to feel like we had a private getaway. We had deer come to drink by the creek, and a nice area for a bond fire. The home was beautiful and the owners were really nice. We would definitely book again. »

« We frequently travel to Galena and have stayed in this home two times. The owner's communication is great, the property is spacious and clean, and the neighborhood is very nice. We will return! »

« Nice location, nice rooms location up and down. Clean and welcoming. When arrived a velcro strip that was on trim piece fell off of shades on main floor bedroom. Dishwasher was sticking out a bit on one side of cabinet, but not a problem. Nice patio and grill to use, attractive and well-maintained landscaping. The staircase was not a good choice for older people with knee issues,(not your fault) but good railing to use to help up and down. Would recommend growth around air conditioner be trimmed...

« I loved the layout with bedrooms and bathrooms on multiple levels as it allowed for some kitchen table adult time after kids bedtime. The main floor is huge and there is a lot to do with all the games. The various decks would have been nice if it wasn’t so cold. I highly recommend staying here. »

« We really enjoyed staying at the Gleneagle house. It is a beautiful place with plenty of room for our families to reside together comfortably. We were celebrating our Mom’s 95th Birthday and we had family join us from Arizona, Hawaii, Idaho, Colorado, Chicago and the Quad Cities. Everything that you could hope for was provided. We really appreciated having the large table to accommodate everyone as other family members staying close by joined us for meals. (30 total)Brian was easy to get a hold...
