Disguised as a tree house, the Retro Boho UFO was dropped in the forest of the Galena Territory in 1974 and the woods grew up around it. Like E.T. longs for home, you’ll long to stay in this Unique Forest Outpost (aka UFO) for a great couples get away, après ski/golf or small family vaca. The secluded location and forest views make for a great escape, but with easy access to amenities and downtown Galena.

2 Bathrooms - small but functional
Kitchenette (no full sized oven - see notes below)
Octagon-shaped with wrap around deck and large windows for an (almost) 360 views.

Spiral staircase leads to a small walkout "basement" with a reading nook and desk/work area (if you must). Also access to laundry, if needed.

Of course, as guests of the Galena Territory, you have access to all of the amenities including indoor and outdoor pools, world-class golf courses, Lake Galena for boating and fishing, and horseback riding. Historic downtown Galena is just 10 minutes away.

While we LOVE this place, it may not be suitable for everyone. Please note:
We’re in the woods. Expect bugs outside and occasionally inside, despite our best efforts in pest control.
We love babies and dogs, but take caution with young children or pets due to safety of the spiral staircase.
There is a downhill sloped walk from the parking area.
No full sized oven in the kitchenette - however the microwave is also a convection oven and pizza pizzazz is available for small needs.
