High Falls State Park is a 1,050-acre Georgia state park located near the city of Jackson. It is the site of a prosperous 19th-century industrial center, which became a ghost town when it was bypassed by the railroad.

The original Fresh Air Barbecue in Jackson, Georgia, is the oldest pit-cooked barbecue restaurant in Georgia still in its original location. Since its establishment in 1929 by Dr. Joel Watkins, Fresh Air Barbecue has served millions of barbecue sandwiches to the traveling public, from all over the United States. The menu is very simple with on BBQ, Brunswick Stew and Cole Slaw. Fresh Air Barbecue is known for having one of the shortest menus of any restaurant around. Cole slaw is one of the few major items that have been added to it in the last 80 years.

If you like old, abandoned, Erie, and probably ghost filled houses this one is a winner. There was an old bed half hanging out a window on the other side. The recliner was the only thing in this room other then the fireplace. I did not go in, yes I was afraid.
