« The property was spotless, very well appointed and everything was of very good quality.Breakfasts were freshly made and delicious. Our hostess was very friendly and gave us excellent advice about places to visit and good places to eat. There was nothing about the property. that we did not like.

« I was greeted by a very friendly and helpful host who showed me to my room and told me about the events of the coming weekend. The pub website says that it can be noisy because they have late night events but up on the second (or was it third floor) it was actually fairly quiet even with the Pride after party going on after midnight.
The pub has a small car park that was never full in the week I was there.
The location is perfect, right in the centre of Ulverston and within easy walking...

« Great value and very clean guest house. It was ideal for what we needed which was a base to visit a relative. Only thing negative was that we requested soya milk along with the standard dairy milk and it was not provided. Apart from that, everything was great. »

The only downside was breakfast, the qaulity of the produce was excellant as i'm guessing was the standard of the breakfast if you were there at the start. I guess part of the problem was our own doing because we decided on a late breakfast towards the end of service, so we found the hot food gad now gone cold. This shouldn't happen so maybe look into...
