This is a renovated historic Art Nouveau villa, faithfully preserving its original decorations and frescoes. It features two apartments, which can be booked together or separately (Suite 1 and Suite 2), and share a magnificent garden.
From the windows, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the lake and the garden with its majestic centuries-old trees. The garden is equipped with a dining table, chairs, and a sunbathing area with loungers.
The interiors are furnished in a modern and functional style, with a rustic touch enhanced by decorative elements and paintings on the walls.
Both apartments are ideal places to spend your holiday on Lake Como. Moments of peace and relaxation await you in a tranquil and refined atmosphere, making your stay unique and unforgettable.

Villa Eugenia Suite 1 can accommodate up to four people. It consists of two double bedrooms, one of which has a private bathroom with a shower, a living room with a comfortable sofa and a large smart TV, a fully equipped and comfortable kitchen, a bathroom with shower, and a laundry room with a washing machine. Free Wi-Fi is available to guests. The apartment is not equipped with air conditioning.
Villa Eugenia Suite 2 can accommodate up to four people. It consists of two double bedrooms, two private bathrooms with showers, a laundry room with a washing machine, and an open-plan living area with a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable sofa, a smart TV, and free Wi-Fi. The apartment is also equipped with air conditioning.

ACCESSIBILITY
From the main road you will need to walk approximately two hundred metres along a private path to reach the property. Once you pass through the pedestrian gate, you will have to go down three flights of stone stairs - a total of 30 steps.
PARKING
The apartment does not have private parking but you can park your car nearby along the main road - only within the blue lines (which are subject to charges during certain hours), because the parking spaces delimited by yellow lines are for the exclusive use of residents.
NEIGHBORHOOD
The property is situated in Carate Urio and is located on the western shore of Lake Como. Carate Urio is a small town with a rich history. Its narrow streets are lined with ancient stone houses. As the sun sets behind the mountains, the town is bathed in a warm golden light.
GETTING AROUND
For our guests\' convenience, we suggest arriving by car. Alternatively, it is possible to take the bus or ferry to travel around. ASF Autolinee buses are in operation in the area. Tickets can be obtained from the driver (cash only) or in designated places (see their website). Taxis are also available, but not easily attainable in the region.
From the “Urio” pier, a local ferry service will take you to Como and some other lakeside towns. Tickets can also be bought online on the Navigazione Laghi website.
From Como San Giovanni station, there are regular trains departing to Milano Centrale and Switzerland (Lugano, Bellinzona, Locarno). From Como Nord Lago, there is a train connection to Milano Cadorna.
The nearest airports are Milano Malpensa, Milano Linate, and Orio Al Serio in Bergamo. It is possible to arrange a direct shuttle to and from the airport at an additional cost.

TIPS
>We advise you to take a day to visit the marvelous little towns around the lake. Como city is the urban centre of the area, but the little towns are gems with glorious lakeside villas.
>To travel and walk around Lake Como, especially in the little towns, comfortable shoes are a must.
>There are many public drinking-water fountains in the area, and the water is safe to drink unless stated otherwise. Tap water is also drinkable. You can carry your own refillable bottle!
>If you are looking for a relatively easy hike in the area and want to enjoy mountain views anyway, Lake Como Greenway is an easy-to-follow trail that doesn\'t require too much walking uphill. It connects the little towns from Colonno to Griante. A bus will take you from Carate Urio to the starting point in Colonno.
>Look for traditional restaurants where you can try local foods such as Lake Como fish dishes.
>In Italy, many shops (especially the little ones) and services are closed in the middle of the day, so be careful to plan your shopping accordingly.
>Lake Como is one of the deepest lakes in Europe and the deepest in Italy. Swimming and diving are prohibited in many areas and can be dangerous. For those who wish to dwell in the water, however, there are some options. There are beaches in other lakeside towns.
Lido di Bellagio and pebbly San Giovanni beach will be waiting for those who wish to travel and explore the beautiful town of Bellagio which lies in the middle of the two Larian branches. Locals and visitors also enjoy travelling to Nesso where the bravest swimmers can jump into the lake from the ancient Roman bridge near the waterfall.
>Lake Como is located in a mountainous region. The surrounding pre-Alps might not seem very high, but the climate is nevertheless affected by the nearby mountains, and temperatures can change quickly. Be particularly attentive to the weather when hiking, and bring some warm and waterproof clothes with you!
