Located on a private street with access to the beach, a quick 5 minute walk. The pool was a great escape when we needed a break from the hot sand. « This is a five star VRBO! The house was very new, and very clean. There are a bunch of amazing, thoughtful, touches - including dog bowls, dog towels, lots of Ziploc bags, Tupperware, the list goes on. The neighborhood pool is great and access to the beach is great. Plenty of local restaurants within walking distance. I stayed at a lot of VRBO rentals, and this one is top-notch. If you’re on the fence, just book it. »

« The house is well maintained and in a great spot in Kill Devil Hills. It was a quick walk to the beach and there are plenty of restaurants and grocery store options nearby. Highly recommend for small groups or family vacation. Property manager is friendly and communicative as well. »

« Wonderful location. Very quick access to the beach. Comes with several amenities such as beach chairs, sand toys for the kids, beach buggy etc. The home was clean and comfortable. Certainly a great spot for a family who will be visiting the beach often. It is also close to several grocery stores, restaurants, the wright brothers museum, gift shops, etc. We enjoyed our stay, and will certainly keep this home on our short list of places to consider staying at in OBX! »

« I stayed at this cottage at the end of May 2025 with my spouse, parents, and dog. It was a great vacation! The cottage had ample parking (3 spaces available), and all the basics needed. The cottage is 5 minute walk from the beach, and just be mindful that you have to take a staircase over the dunes in order to actually access the beach, so if you bring a lot of umbrellas and chairs and things you'll probably need to make a couple trips. « This was our first time booking an actual house for our vacation. The neighborhood is lovely and the cottage was in a great location! The cottage remimds me a lot of our family cabin so we felt right at home. The host was very prompt with all communications which made check-in and check-out a breeze! We would stay there again for future vacations! »

"Our unit was very clean. The unit was well furnished, excellent amenities. Outdoor needs renos. There are stairs, you may need to carry your luggage upstairs. The area is mostly quiet, but... Suites have a communicating door that let the sounds (voices and tv) go through easily. Maintenance starts making noise before 8AM every morning and nobody seems to care; I've talk to people at the desk and the answer I got meant "it is what it is, it won't change, we don't care" "
