« We had a great time here. It’s close to Abingdon, Damascus, and the Creeper Trail. My wife went down and had a wonderful time kayaking on the water with her kayak. The kitchen had everything we needed and the Blackstone was a hit with the kids for multiple meals. Looking forward to returning! »

« We stayed for scca autocross. It was very nice being 4 minutes from the track. House was very clean and perfect for 2 people. Owners were very friendly. »

« My husband is disabled and we don't get to get out much this little cabin was just what we needed we sat outside on the porch early morning watching the dark turn into light the sound of the water trees whistling in the wind the Canadian geese were beautiful cabin was so clean and nicely kept and the host was prompt with everything we needed I definitely found our favorite place thanks for making our 29th anniversary a memorable trip »

« Lovely peaceful setting on the river, quiet country setting. Access to surrounding towns was easy and I appreciated the list of businesses you provided. The views from the balconies were great as well. Managing the stairs with luggage was a bit challenging. Would be nice if owners could build out a bit of a landing zone at door height for luggage to sit on while you open the door. That was such a tiny part of the visit, it wouldn’t prevent me from staying again though. Overall I enjoyed the...

« I rented this for my elderly uncle to stay in for our wedding weekend. He loved everything about it and felt very comfortable. He said one of the mornings he was sitting on the porch drinking his coffee, when a baby owl landed near him and stayed there for a long while! »

« The best part for us was the quiet, privacy, and view that allowed us to relax. The cute cabin was clean and comfortable. There were plenty of linens and the kitchen was sufficiently stocked. The two porches had an amazing view. The walk down to the lake on the well-constructed stairs and landings to the dock was a hidden gem. We even caught some fish and would like to return again. »

« We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We were in the area for an annual family reunion and this place was perfect for us! The kids enjoyed the outdoors, all the inside games and just having "adventures." Everything we needed was right there. We didn't even leave 1 of the days we were there. The uniqueness of the cabin was just perfect for our curious kiddos. « Cabin was just as advertised. Great for 3 couples and 1 child. Each couple had their own floor so it gave us lots of space. AC worked great. Thoroughly enjoyed the quiet remoteness's of this home. The fire pit and dock are so relaxing. Don’t let the steps frighten you. It is a climb but certainly doable. I would advise arriving before dark. Navigating the last couple roadways takes some getting used to. We will certainly consider returning again! »

« Our family stayed two nights while visiting Bristol for the NHRA races and found the location peaceful and quiet. It had everything we needed, but we ate out for our meals. The property does have WiFi and streaming services which was nice. The deck and screened in porch is lovely as well. The house is older but well maintained. »
