« Very cozy and had a homey feel to it. Such a very nice place and we had plenty of room. Thank you to the hosts! »

« Was extremely nice and relaxing. Beautiful lake kids caught plenty of fish. The neighbor across the pond was super friendly. The house was everything that was pictured definitely 10 out of 10 will be going back. »

« My family of 14 people needed a place for all of us to stay for the holidays. The twin turrets was a great fit for what we needed. Everyone had their own bed, the bathrooms took a little time to get showers scheduled, since there are only 2 showers, but it worked out. The home was fun to explore inside and out. We went for some walks on the trails, enjoyed watching the ducks and geese, or just looking out at the lake. So peaceful! »

« This is a wonderful place to get away from it all and just enjoy nature and the company of the people you are traveling with. Bird watchers will especially love the barn willows, red headed woodpeckers, blue grosbeak, Bobwhite, and more. Stores and the historic downtown of Saint Genevieve are just a short drive away. Along with many wineries. »

« Very clean and comfortable. I would have like either a bench or chair for my luggage, and I would have liked the door going to the backyard useable. Other from that we very much loved the house. »

« We really enjoyed our stay at Camp Stonebass - Lake House. It looked like it had been TOTALLY remodeled,as everything looked new and was VERY tastefully done. We thought it looked great in the photos, but it looked even better in real. It was just the two of us there to celebrate our birthdays together, and we loved it. We did not have to call the hosts for any concerns, which is the way it should be. »

« We loved our stay at Lost Creek Bluebird. We didn't expect the commute to the marina but loved the seclusion of the house. We had some of our family come in from St. Louis and some came from NE Arkansas and the house was a perfect meeting place where we were all under one roof. We played games, roasted marshmallows, made cupcakes and just enjoyed each others company. »

« Quaint, little property with roomy accommodations. So much better than 4 people sharing a hotel room…everyone had their own space. The location was convenient, quiet and the neighborhood felt safe. »

« My son is opening a new bar called cousins. Came down to support his grand opening and now I will have a hard time ever going down there without staying at the same house. It was absolutely perfect. »

« We enjoyed the 2024 total Solar Eclipse from the front of the property. It was a perfect place to enjoy it. No crowds no issues. We went on a hike at Pickle Springs Nature Area after the event. Farmington is near by to drop in and grab some food or coffee. Perfect place for the two days to get away from it all. »

« We absolutely loved our time at The Salty Nest! The home is beautifully decorated, flooded with natural light from large windows (all of which open and shade perfectly), and immaculately clean. The kitchen is a dream—stocked with a pristine Keurig and flavored pods, a drip coffee maker with Folgers and filters, and even a French press.The recliner couch was more comfortable than ours at home, and every bed and pillow was incredibly restful.
