This rustic, lakefront hideaway is one of the few original cabins left at Bass Lake. It has a private dock for boats and swimming in a cove. Nothing fancy but everything special, warm, and inviting; this home provides you with all the benefits of lakefront living. There are two full kitchens, including an open kitchen overlooking the lake. There are also multiple living areas: a long room with a lake view, a central room with a TV, and a den with a fireplace. Downstairs, there is a separate living area with couches and a TV, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a large bedroom with a lake view. Amenities include a Ping-Pong table, books and board games, portable air conditioning, mini split air-conditioning units in the upstairs primary bedroom and living area, and a washer/dryer. Outdoors, the home has a big lakefront deck area with a gas grill - perfect for warm-weather cookouts.

Beautiful Bass Lake lets you enjoy boating, skiing, fishing, swimming, hiking, and bicycling. The home is near the Pines Village at the lake, which provides restaurants, a general market, bars, shops, and a full-service marina with rental boats, jet skis, and kayaks. The town of Oakhurst is about seven miles away, with shopping, restaurants, bars, a movie cinema, and a live stage theater. The Chukchansi Casino in Coarsegold is 12 miles away, and the southern entrance of Yosemite National Park is less than 15.

Bass Lake is less than 15 miles from the southern entrance of Yosemite National Park. Bass Lake reaches its peak water levels in the summer months and is lowered by 50 percent during the fall and winter months annually. Because of this, summer water levels vary each year depending on the winter season rain and snowfall. We have no control over lake levels.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 6 vehicles.

Dock details: There is one private dock on the property measuring 16-feet by 16-feet. The water level fluctuates. Guests may tie up two boats and swimming is allowed.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
