À éviter
Cet hôtel est très mal entretenu ! La propreté laisse à désirer et la maintenance aussi. La clim fonctionnait mal, il y a eu de nombreux soucis électriques qui nous ont obligé à changer de chambre. J’ai appelé en tout 5 fois la réception pour des soucis !! La nouvelle n’était pas adaptée pour 2 et était plus petite. La situation est bien.

Auf keinen Fall 4Sterne, Zustand des Hotels reicht nicht mal für 3. Braucht dringend eine Generalüberholung! Teppichböden sind sehr runter, Frühstück für 200EGP war schrecklich präsentiert, Ambiente im gesamten „Restaurant“ war absolut nicht einladend. Personal sehr freundlich, wer sich nicht gruselt, kann unter dem Hotel das Mietauto kostenlos parken.

The lavatory was in a very tight place couldn't use it. Morover I ordered a taxi for the airport was told I could order a local off the street 300 egyptian pounds or a limousine for $30. When the car atrived it was a dilapidated state but due to time constraints I couldn't argue so took the taxi rip off.

Citymax Aswan seems like a hotel that used to be glorious and no longer is but it is still good enough to give it a good review. The check in process was very easy. Our room was very clean and spacious with big bathroom, a living room and a very comfortable king bed…we even had Nile River view. The restaurant could have a menu with broader international options but you can survive with what they offer! Breakfast are “buffet style”. The location is centric, close to restaurants and even a small shopping mall. All in all, it was a good experience to stay in this hotel.

The location was convenient and there were wonderful views of the river in all directions. We stayed in a junior suite which had a balcony and a large bathroom. The beds were relatively comfortable, and we were able to have our laundry done in only one day. The restaurant was under construction and the pool area was okay but not what we had expected.

We, an American family, booked a suite for three nights consisting of two bedrooms sufficient for four people, and a sitting area which had only two uncomfortable chairs, a little table, and a TV. But the beds were comfortable. One of the bedrooms had a truly marvelous view of the Nile, but the windows were very dirty, spoiling the view. In the second bedroom the HVAC did not work. The bathroom had a cramped small shower but was otherwise okay. There was plenty of hot water. The room phone didn't work, so we would have to go down to the lobby to speak to a concierge. Some of the employees at the front desk spoke English but a number of them could just barely do so. Check-in starts at 14:00 and we arrived at 15:00, and yet still had to wait for about 35 minutes to be admitted to our suite. The restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner (not lunch} for buffet-style serve-yourself meals. They were not good. After having had the breakfast and the dinner once each, we did not return. There is a food court nearby, but food there was only a little better, and the atmosphere was very chaotic.

Good hotel, but rooms are old, carpet stained, and walls need maintenance. The area around is great as you are close to the transportation taking you to the main attractions. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We recommend talking to them about transportation and how to move around the city. They will provide excellent options.

Heater not working in room
We got an executive room with the Nile view, however, from the beginning we had issues at our room. First the shower flooded and it took a while for maintenance to go and fix the issue. Also, the heater in the room was not working and as there were no more rooms available we were just given more blankets.

Air conditioners smell like cigarette smoke, the carpets are stained, the breakfast is mediocre. The bed was comfortable.

Good for a short stay and it's price range
It was ok to stay there for 2 nights, hotel is a bit dated but beds were clean. They need to clean tge floor more and allow no smoking at the reception since this was a bit bothering. Over all it was fine for tge price range and for 2 nights. While in aswan we toured with a local agency Go Luxor Tours. We enjoyed touring with them so much! Professional guides, clean cars and alwayes on time. Very highly recommended if you wanna hassle free tours! www.goluxortours.com

Nice hotel within a local plaza. Staff always helpful and with a smile. Close to the Nile and great view from the roof. One think I didn’t like was the desserts, they are not fresh. I bought one at the reception cafe and it was so old than I had to put it into the garbage. For the rest of the food it’s ok ;)

Hotel limpio, habitación grande, buen aire acondicionado aunque algo ruidoso, personal muy amable y restaurante con muy buenas sopas, recomendada la de cebolla. Por parte, está directamente conectado con un pequeño centro comercial que cuenta con patio de comidas

The room is huge. The hotel is very central. The restaurant is bad, but the coffee in the lobby is decent. a bit overprice. The hotel need renovation or a bit of taken care off. Wasn't great, but it worked. Wifi not working in the room.

Good central location. Very large room and friendly staff. Hotel is pretty run down and need maintenance. Roof top was a mess. Reception staff wasn’t very useful and it was a little expensive for the price. Wifi wasnt working properly either. Room was clean and comfy.

My stay at Citymax hotel was Excellent!!!! The room was very clean. The room service and in room dining is great! the cafe was great! Food was delicious. Very convenient location. connected to a Mall. everything you need is close by. room has great view of Nile. Overall, a great stay

Great place
Perfect location, right on the Nile and right opposite where my cruise boat docked. Road is a little noisy but great big room and great service. Opened the restaurant for me at lunch time and gave me a breakfast box at 4.30am

It was a very comfortable stay. I was upgraded to a lovely junior suite with a balcony overlooking the Nile River. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.

Very happy with this hotel. Good value.
Clean and very comfortable we were upgraded to a suite we were very happy although the bathroom was a tiny bit small the shower pressure was fantastic the bed was comfortable and the entire space was very pleasing and relaxing. The view outside of the windows was spectacular and the Wi-Fi works really well in the room we had.

The staff at this hotel are amazing!!! The hotel itself was clean but it has cheap decor and furniture. It's a fancy cheap hotel :). It's not 5 star but it's still definitely a great place to stay. Highly recommend!

地點很好,離亞斯文火車站很近(走5-10分鐘),櫃檯小姐讓我們能提早check in很不錯,飯店看不出來是2017年才落成的,給的房間景色不錯但冷氣壞掉,維修人員修了半小時還是沒冷氣才換房,換的房間等級有些落差,換到新房間,有兩個服務人員同時站在床頭折浴袍感覺很怪,不知是要小費還是房間尚未準備好。房間在照片上看起來跟實際有落差,有個很刺鼻的味道,不是很好聞,床單枕套也不是很乾淨(同行夥伴有嚴重過敏反應),浴室只有淋浴沒有蓮蓬頭不太方便,而且熱水忽冷忽熱,熱水需按一個開關,洗了一會兒冷水才問,應該提早告知。清潔的細節應再加強,地毯沙發椅子有非常多污漬有點噁心,因為訂的價格不算便宜,建議各方面都應該要提高標準。

CityMax the perfect location to get around by foot
Aswan and the CityMax Hotel were perfect. We arrived at 0800 in the morning after taking the sleeper train from Cairo. We walked to the hotel which was 10 min away. They let us check into our room st 0815 am with no extra cost as it was empty, clean and ready to go. The view spectacular as it us right across from the beautiful Nile River. At night we ate at the various street vendors in the Souk which is right around the corner. Try the Pizzaowich...delicious:)

Skip the Citymax Hotel
We found the Citymax a very poor quality hotel in most every respect. The room was dirty (toilet paper was in the toilet when we arrived). The carpet looked like it had never been cleaned and the sheets were poor quality. The noise from the street below was unbearable because the windows provided no insulation. We could not figure out how to use the HVAC system. The only good aspect was the location. But there must be better hotels in the neighborhood.
