Lo mejor el parque del agua.

Les + : Parque de Agua
Les - : Falta manteneimiento. Ej. Metegol sin pelotitas, Mesas de Pool sin tacos, Habitaciones sin puertas de cajas de seguridad.
Situation : Sobre la playa, cercano al hotel no sabria decir puesto que no sali de las instalaciones.
El parque de agua cumplio las expectativas generadas, pero al hotel le falta mantenimiento y algunas instalaciones son deficientes.

Sirenis Punta Cana - A great family vacation!

Les + : The water park, the people: Veronika - mgr, Juana & Super Mario *concierges, Jonathan @ the pool bar. The food at the restaurants & buffet! All good!
Les - : Rooms need to be updated. Beach needs to be cleaned at night, not during daylight. Guests are NOT seated for dinner in the main dinning buffet.
Situation : It's about 45 minutes from the airport and one of the last resorts on Bavaro Beach. We didn't leave the resort, so cannot comment.
My wife, 7 year old daughter and I have been to the DR twice now and found it to always be a great family vacation, hands down! The Dominican people are extremely friendly, love tourists and are good people. We booked our vacation pretty late and without a ton of research. After we booked, I read almost every single review in the last two years on this hotel and didn't know what to expect. Here's what we found: Sirenis Punta Cana & Aquagames was a great value, family vacation and overall, a great value family-oriented resort! The flavor of the resort is multi-national. We met people from Canada, Germany, Great Britain, France and Russia. Our favorites were Russian, boy can the party...that's cool! Pros: Great staff, great pool, concierges & night life. Cons: The rooms were clean but poorly furnished and in need of updating. The mattresses were hard. Our room had a vent that vented outside and I'm pretty sure there was an bat or something in it. Found a lizard in the closet...The beach did have tons of seaweed removed daily by dump trucks & bulldozers. Not a pleasant sight. Check-in was bad. We arrived at 3 PM and had to wait 3 hours for our room to be ready. Overall, we really enjoyed the resort and thought it was a good value. Yes there were some things that could use improvements, but we always try to look at the Pros & Cons and after some considerations, we found Sirenis Punta Cana to be a quality resort. Yes, we would return. Definitely recommend for families!

Will not go back even if free

This resort needs serious upgrading. Our first room bathroom was filthy and door did not even have a lock. There are no tissues, pads, a pen, cups or basic things you get at an average motel. You hardly get couple towels and a toilet paper. The beach was full of seaweed. I understand it is a nature and not the hotel but we couldn't use the beach at all. Our concierge Juana tried to make things better by offering a slightly better toom and a restaurant reservation but in the end, she did not give us reservation and did not help us with transportation to airport as promised. Food was way below subpar and drinks were watered down. Overall, we still enjoyed ourselves but will not go back even if it was for free. There are other better destinations not to waste our vacation time on subpar resorts.

Lack of service, rooms need to be upgraded

Les + : Pool quality and cleanliness.
Les - : Bathroom in guestrooms HAS to be upraded, they are not serviceable anymore at that point.
Situation : Swimming with the dolphins is really exciting experience.
When we arrived at 5pm ( two hours after official check in time) they asked us to wait 5 minutes to check room readiness.Those 5 min turned almost into 30 min and then we've been brought to the room which was not cleaned and prepared for the new guest. Front desk manager Miguel made this "nice" welcome to us. Another bad surprise in our room was poor bathroom condition: chipping paint from the bottom of the bathtub, old dirty faucets, bad smell.In general guest rooms need to be upgraded. To be fair I have to say that they are taking good care of the pool, beach and grounds. Food was also well prepared, fresh with descent variety.

Horrible hotel

Won't recommend this hotel to anyone. When we arrived the staff at front desk told us that we didn't have a reservation at the hotel and booked it by expedia they let us at the lobby since 2 pm to 7 pm without giving us nothing I was with 4 kids and they gave us the room at 730 pm but no body told is what was happening with my reservations it was the worst place that I visited in my life

The hotel needs room improvements and service was horrible. Every morning the towels are collected from all the rooms, they are thrown on the floor and kicked to the laundry room. You will not see a clean towell until late afternoon. The towels used to be white. Now they are all shades of grey and yellow. The bedding was not changed even once in 8 days we were there. I liked the ocean but the beach was covered with seaweed. 80% of the tourists were Russian who didn't speak any English. The drinks were made to their liking and too strong for my taste. Kids liked the water park. The food was below average with long lines in the buffet. The 4 restaurants from which we were told we could use on 2 during 1 week stay required reservation. Hibachi grill is a joke. The only decent restaurant is Mediterranean.

Es un hotel grande, hermoso, limpio y cómodo,, tiene mucho.. si no todo lo necesario para ser un all inclusive verdaderamente lujoso. Puntos de mejora: El buffette es repetitivo y le falta algo de calidad, como los pan cakes en la mañana terribles.. la música del restaurante mexicano que horror,, lo más feo y viejo y siempre el mismo CD parece tortura. En otros All inclusive de lujo incluyen el room service aquí no. En bebidas internacionales bien, pero les faltan algunas como Amaretto. Sería bueno que hubiera algún snack por la Barcy pool. Los toboganes del Pirate Island no son nada peligrosos ni altos y los niños de 4 años no se pueden subir! Lo demás todo muy bien, el restaurante KYOTO nos encanta y todo el personal es muy atento. Es un muy lindo hotel.

Les - : Maintenance
Situation : Not much to do. Souvenir Shops outside of the hotel are more expensive than the hotels. Don't even think of shopping at Higuey.
The facilities were nice and well kept grounds. My biggest complaint would that there was a water leak right on top of the toilet. It was a small drip but was annoying. I asked to have it fixed and the repair lasted a day. I guess it was water falling on the floor seeping through the floor. Food at the buffet was good but average at the pool. Restaurants requiring reservation were very good. The water park was nice. Employees were very attentive The large pools with walk up bars were absolutely relaxing. Overall I would rate it at 3.9.

This was my 3rd time in Punta Cana. The other 2 times I stayed in adults only resor because I did not have kids ( now I have 1 yo twins). My reason because I picked this place was because of my friends from Brazil was going. I live in NY and it was a good excuse to have fun and meet them. The place outside is nice, the pool is nice. The food is ok. I was only eat rice, beans and chicken and it was delicious ( it was at the beach restaurant) the other food I ate wasn't good so I stay with my rice and beans. I tried American, Italian, Japanese and Mediterranean. The only one i would go back is the Japanese but u will not see fresh fish in the menu. I did not like the room. If this was my first time in the resort I will like more. Because I already went to much better places I can compare. The other places I stayed was 2 times more expensive but the room was much niche better and the food was much much better. The last time I stay at Iberostar Grand and I would go back if I did not have kids. I met this amazon woman that helped with my twins, she was the lady who cleaned my room and she was very very very nice. This is the only reason I would give the hotel 5 stars because she took very good care of my babies.
