The hotel needs room improvements and service was horrible. Every morning the towels are collected from all the rooms, they are thrown on the floor and kicked to the laundry room. You will not see a clean towell until late afternoon. The towels used to be white. Now they are all shades of grey and yellow. The bedding was not changed even once in 8 days we were there. I liked the ocean but the beach was covered with seaweed. 80% of the tourists were Russian who didn't speak any English. The drinks were made to their liking and too strong for my taste. Kids liked the water park. The food was below average with long lines in the buffet. The 4 restaurants from which we were told we could use on 2 during 1 week stay required reservation. Hibachi grill is a joke. The only decent restaurant is Mediterranean.

Es un hotel grande, hermoso, limpio y cómodo,, tiene mucho.. si no todo lo necesario para ser un all inclusive verdaderamente lujoso. Puntos de mejora: El buffette es repetitivo y le falta algo de calidad, como los pan cakes en la mañana terribles.. la música del restaurante mexicano que horror,, lo más feo y viejo y siempre el mismo CD parece tortura. En otros All inclusive de lujo incluyen el room service aquí no. En bebidas internacionales bien, pero les faltan algunas como Amaretto. Sería bueno que hubiera algún snack por la Barcy pool. Los toboganes del Pirate Island no son nada peligrosos ni altos y los niños de 4 años no se pueden subir! Lo demás todo muy bien, el restaurante KYOTO nos encanta y todo el personal es muy atento. Es un muy lindo hotel.

Les + : The pools because most of the day there were shaded areas near the bars
Les - : Maintenance
Situation : Not much to do. Souvenir Shops outside of the hotel are more expensive than the hotels. Don't even think of shopping at Higuey.
The facilities were nice and well kept grounds. My biggest complaint would that there was a water leak right on top of the toilet. It was a small drip but was annoying. I asked to have it fixed and the repair lasted a day. I guess it was water falling on the floor seeping through the floor. Food at the buffet was good but average at the pool. Restaurants requiring reservation were very good. The water park was nice. Employees were very attentive The large pools with walk up bars were absolutely relaxing. Overall I would rate it at 3.9.

This was my 3rd time in Punta Cana. The other 2 times I stayed in adults only resor because I did not have kids ( now I have 1 yo twins). My reason because I picked this place was because of my friends from Brazil was going. I live in NY and it was a good excuse to have fun and meet them. The place outside is nice, the pool is nice. The food is ok. I was only eat rice, beans and chicken and it was delicious ( it was at the beach restaurant) the other food I ate wasn't good so I stay with my rice and beans. I tried American, Italian, Japanese and Mediterranean. The only one i would go back is the Japanese but u will not see fresh fish in the menu. I did not like the room. If this was my first time in the resort I will like more. Because I already went to much better places I can compare. The other places I stayed was 2 times more expensive but the room was much niche better and the food was much much better. The last time I stay at Iberostar Grand and I would go back if I did not have kids. I met this amazon woman that helped with my twins, she was the lady who cleaned my room and she was very very very nice. This is the only reason I would give the hotel 5 stars because she took very good care of my babies.

Les + : La restauration aux buffets, la taille des piscines et des jardins
Les - : L'entretien en général. Le confort des chambres et leur entretien: totalement inégal selon les blocs. L'attitude de certains personnels.
Situation : Rien à proximité immédiate de l'hôtel
Nous sommes resté dans 2 chambres: 1 quadruple et une triple une semaine en août 2014. L'hôtel est très grand avec plusieurs piscines et un parc aquatique. Les chambres sont très humides, le sol ne sèche jamais et est constamment glissant, la literie de mauvaise qualité. Les billards, babyfoot, et autres équipement de loisirs sont cassés à 80%. Le club enfants est une supercherie. Pas de jouets, animation d'amateur, encadrement plus que nonchalant. L'animatrice n'a pas envie de travailler et les horaires du club sont variables. Vous ne pouvez y laisser vos enfant qu'environ 1 heure le matin, voire 1h30, et 1 heure l'après-midi, soit au mieux 3h par jour -à condition que l'activité du jour ne requiert pas votre présence. C'était tout de même la pleine saison. La restauration aux buffets est en revanche assez bonne pour un complexe aussi immense. La rotation des services est satisfaisante et permet de manger presque qu'à toute heure. Il y a même des jus et milk-shakes de fruits et légumes frais au petit-déjeuner. Les restaurants à la carte ne valent pas le détour. Notre avis concernant le personnel est très mitigé, il y a un mélange d'employés sympathiques et ayant le sens du service et d'employé totalement désabusés, limite impolis. La plage est belle mais l'eau de la mer est polluée par une algue épineuse qui donne de l'urticaire. L'hôtel est isolé de tout.

Hotel was ok but I was disappointed in what's advertised here on Expedia and what you really get when you arrive.. I booked the junior suite and on arrival I wanted to iron a shirt for dinner. It so happen the iron plug wouldn't fit in nothing of the outlets in the room. I called guest services to ask how or where can I plug the iron, the guy replied the outlets in my room are different so I would have to purchase an adapter to use the iron .... then the tele in thr room won't work and to add icing to the cake the air conditioning wouldn't get cool. After two repeated calls and no help I went to the front office demanding to speak with a manager.... so I checked in on Friday and never got my iron and tele sorted out until Saturday night the day befoe I check out with is Sunday.

Les + : nothing, This hotel does not fit to Punta Cana, Bavaro or Uvero Alto
Les - : total renovation, more service, more quality
Situation : great location,
the hotel is in bad condition, old furniture, dirty bathrooms, bad room service , bad food e.t.c..........

Les + : BEAUTIFULL AND I LIKE, AND I GONNA COME BACK ANOTHER TIME.
Les - : IN MY OPINION THE POOL IS OPEN ON THE RIGHT TIME,BUT COULD BE CLOSE AT10:00pm BECAUSE THE SUN STILL GOOD WHEN PEOPLE CLOSE AT 6:00pm.THAT'S NOT FEAR.
Situation : THAT' S GOOD.
WAS VERY GOOD BECAUSE ME AND MY FAMILY HAD SO MUCH FUNNY, THE PEOPLE ON THE HOTEL IS VERY KIND .
