« Got in on a Friday evening and was greeted by the chirp of the smoke alarm in the master bedroom--the battery was dying. Even though the next day was a Saturday, the host had his handyman (who was a very nice fellow) arrive with ladder and a fresh battery. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood (the sheep next door sleep through the night and are charming during the day.) »

« We loved our stay at the Volcano lodge! It was very peaceful, the jacuzzi was a nice place to relax at the end of the evening. Even though there were others staying on the property we rarely saw them. The lush rainforest was beautiful! I would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again! Thank you! »

« Great location. We got there at dusk - tropical pathway lights didn't work - most were smashed. Hot tub was not "locked up" as supposed to be - and cloudy. Did not want to chance a UTI so - no tubbing which was the whole reason we picked this little gem. Sink clogged up, wallpaper paper falling off, possible black mold on skylight above bed. No batteries in remote. We left a day early. I hope they fix it up. »

We recognized the beautiful location nestled among treeferns and planted with anthuriums right away. Located in a residential neighborhood so very quiet yet close enough to lots of things to do. »

« This place had everything we needed for our 3 day stay in Volcano. Super convey location to the park, town and the host was great at communicating and accommodating our needs. She gave great suggestions for things to do and places to eat, too. We would definitely visit again if we ever make it back to HI/Volcano. »

« There were definite highs and lows to this property. The rooms were very clean and there was great entertainment options (games available to play) and lots of beds, which is what we wanted. However, we really wanted the hot tub which this property advertised, but was clearly not being uproot or available for use. There was one line in the posting, that the water is not drinkable. I applaud that this property is so green, but it was somewhat inconvenient for utilizing water. The biggest complaint...
