« This lovely little pub/hotel punches well above its weight in terms of quality and value. Very engaging staff team providing a comfortable stay, nothing too much trouble. Restaurant food was superb and so much better than the homogeneous chain hotel fare. Convenient for stroll into town and a few metres from the racecourse/parkrun. »

« Great little traditional village inn B&B Only small issue was they only have Chinese food available for evening meals although the Chinese was excellent if you are staying more than two nights its a bit repetitive there are no other options in the village for food so you need to travel to neighbouring villages. »

« Enjoyed the hot tub. Delicious full English breakfast 200 yards away at the Burnside Hotel. Great choice of food at the village pub, The Belll. Arrived at check in time of 4pm and had to call the number to get owner to let us into room. Hard to get shower colder, owner let us use upstairs bathroom meant for another (vacant) room instead. Very clean and well kept property. »

« Lovely B&B. Sue is a lovely lady -very friendly and helpful. She also does a fantastic Breakfast! Our room was great - roomy and very comfortable bed.
