If you don’t want to drive there is lots to do in the immediate surrounding area. A short walk and you are down by the river, where there is a great coffee shop or friendly pub. « Amazing accomodation, Wendy the host is so welcoming and the Barn was perfect Ample parking, lovely surroundings, fantastic wi-fi . The accommodation is so clean and finished in a high standard. Upon our very late arrival Wendy was there to welcome us and provided a welcome basket and Prosecco. All rooms are superb inc bedding and towels and living space so comfy. Kithen is fully equipped and huge. Perfect for a wkd away or longer. Would highly recommend and will be back if we travel up North...

« We truly enjoyed this adorable cottage. It is well hidden, and not an easy walk to any eateries or stores. The only two difficult things were the distance we had to walk, pulling our suitcase to the front door. And the second was a step down into the kitchen from the living room. We both trip down that at least once. Difficult to remember, especially at night when going to the bathroom. Bedroom was adorable and there was plenty room. « Great location however the house was not clean on arrival despite owner stating it had been cleaned. I needed to clean sour milk which was throughout the fridge. There was lots of mould and damp spots in the bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen. Water was leaking through the ceiling in the kitchen and damaged our food.Owner advised he was trying to patch up the kitchen roof.Unable to use shower as this also leaked into kicheb.
