« There aren't a lot of hotels in this area so your options are limited. The hotel is very dated and some things haven't been updated in many years. But you could tell they made an effort to clean. The window was cracked and the bathroom floor tile was cracked. The ceiling light was on a timer so it kept turning off. But the sheets seem clean and there was no indication of any bug activity. « I stayed at the Hampton McHenry for 10 days and had a very good time. The room was clean, large and quiet. Nice pool and small fitness center. I particularly apprieciated the breakfast buffet : good choice or meals and fresh wafers! Free Wifi with above average speed. Coffee available all day in the lobby! »
