« Perfect stop for our exploring of the Upper Peninsula. Our dogs loved some time off leash enjoying nature. It was a good reset for them. Cabin was spotless. Beds comfy. Restaurants within a few miles. A highlight stop for us. Definitely recommend. »

« The lodge is a wonderful place to get away to birch trees and smell off clean pine air. Our lake view was amazing. The leaves were just beginning to show the onset of fall with few hues of red and orange. We took many walks around the property enjoying the woods and lake. The resort was quiet but people hanging out at the beach or fisherman taking their boats early in the morning. The pool and spa were used a few times. It should open early. The kitchen and dining were stocked to meet our needs....

« The location we had originally booked canceled our reservation due to selling property and issues with plumbing. Upon searching for something close we stumbled across this amazing property. Granted its not on the water like the place we originally had, but this location slept more people, was large, had 2 bathrooms, a cleaning room for fish, a huge kitchen, was decorated very nicely with outdoor theme, and the owners were very accommodating, easy to work with and fast to respond. « This cozy cabin was the perfect home base for our Door County adventures. Roomy, well-appointed and comfortable. We couldn't have asked for a better location as we sought out sunsets at Peninsula State Park, crashing waves at Cave Point County Park and the smooth rocks at Schoolhouse Beach on Washington Island. « Did an upgrade to cowboy retreat and it was well worth it. The cabin was beautiful and roomy and comfortable. S’mores at the fire pit were so good. Ed was a great host. Showed us around and made us feel we never wanted to leave. Could have stayed there forever »

« The cabin was perfectly located near Devils Lake, with ideal accommodations for our group. We wanted to just stay at the house as it had nice outdoor areas and accommodated all our needs. We built fires each night,spent time on the outdoor front porch and enjoyed our morning coffee on back patio. We all hope to return! Owner was very friendly and accommodating. »
