« The lake cottage has a welcoming feel. The living room has a gas fireplace and comfortable couches and a beautiful view out the sliding glass door to the lake. The eating area is comfortable and the kitchen very user-friendly. We had a small dog who was quite at home. The house was so clean and there were welcoming touches throughout-- snacks, coffee, essentials toiletries, filtered water in fridge. We had a lovely two-night stay but could have easily stayed longer. The stairs to the bedrooms...

« Everything was as described and clean. The only negative-if you can call this a negative- is that there was no stash of plastic wrap or foil to wrap leftovers and no salt and pepper. Every place we have rented on VRBO had these. »

« The cottage was exactly as listed. The sunset from the deck was very pretty. The fenced in yard was an added bonus for the dogs to play after a long car ride. Wish we had more time to enjoy the lake front. There is so much to do in the area. »

« The pictures on the listing do not do it justice. Stocked with many towels, blankets and cleaning supplies. It is located in a very peaceful area. Very pet friendly with bowels and dog bed available. Was also very clean and well kept. Owner very helpful and responsive. Hope its available again the next time we come to visit our son at college. »

« This vacation home was in the perfect location! Beautiful sunrise views from an impressive front patio. The property is very peaceful and spacious. We enjoyed our time at both ends of Seneca Lake. We walked Watkins Glen gorge trail and visited several wineries. Our favorite restaurant was Kinderd Fare in Geneva. After a full day of exploring we enjoyed some time around the fire pit. « The cottage was super cute and immaculately clean. Kitchen was well stocked (thankfully there were coffee filters because that was something I didn’t think of bringing). View was awesome as it is feet from the water. Host was great with clear communication and easy check in. While technically it could sleep 7, it would be tight for 7 adults, especially for tall people as the beds are in charming built in cubbies. But perfect for a family. »
